PELL GRANT

The Federal Pell Grant is for undergraduates and those who do not have a bachelor’s degree or any other professional degree. This is a financial aid that does not have to be repaid by the student.

ALICE NEWELL JOSLYN MEDICAL FUND

This medical scholarship fund is available to Latino students who are studying or residing in San Diego, California. The scholarship awards each eligible student between $500 and $2000 of financial aid per year. And as a rule, they have to re-apply for the scholarship each year.

STAFFORD LOANS

Stafford Loans are for undergraduates or graduate students. They must also be attending college at least at a half-time basis to be eligible for this loan.

MAXINE WILLIAMS SCHOLARSHIP

Applying for a Maxine Williams Scholarship can be a little tricky. First, a student must already be attending, for at least one semester, a school that is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Programs. The student must also have a maintained GPA of 3.0 or higher. The student would have to apply for the scholarship through the school financial aid administration, who will request for the Maxine Williams Scholarship on behalf of the student.

ANNA GELERIS MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP

This scholarship is available for students who are enrolled in medical career courses such as medical assisting, nursing, dental assisting programs and the like.
